Dear all,

I used bq27541 to manage my battery pack. Then I discharged the battery pack to empty(Remaining capacity=0 mAh),.After discharged done, I charged the battery pack to full. But I found that the Passed Charge(1469mAh) was not equal to the Remaining Capacity(1417mAh) . Why?

Benn, do you have the data log? Also please send us the data flash dump (export gg file) so we can check the settings.

Benn,

The gg file has "update Status = 0" which means the gauge has not learned the battery Qmax or Ra. And is not operating in IT enabled mode. Did you selected the chemistry of the cell you are using and generated golden image? If not, please refer to product folder for application notes for details.

Thanks Ming. That gg file was created by the default chemistry ID, and I will try it again by selecting a more accurate chemistry ID.
