Hi all,

I have a question on the data sheet.

Datasheet P.19 has the following description.

The watchdog service signal is not received during the open window. WDO is triggered after the maximum open-window duration t(WD) / 2.

I think WDO is triggered after the maximum open-window duration t(WD), because in Figure 25, it is written as t(WD).

Which of the maximum open window duration is t(WD) or t(WD)/2 ?

Hi Koji Hayashi,

You are correct that Figure 25 and section 7.3.7.8 are depicting when WTS is tied to logic high. When WTS is logic high, the watchdog behaves as a standard watchdog resetting the watchdog timer when a valid pulse occurs on WD within t(wd). As such the description of fault 1 should state that the watchdog service signal is not received within t(wd).
