Sepic / Cuk / Zeta question

I've gotten myself acquainted with the different types of capacitor-coupled DC/DC converters, but I would like to know how good these converters would perform at giving a consistent output voltage if the input voltage is rectified AC from the mains, but has large ripple (for example, providing a good output voltage despite a 20-volt peak-to-peak, 50 or 60 hertz ripple on the input voltage)?
