TLC5927 - Maximum Driving Current for a LED Driver

I'm thinking of using the TLC5927 that has an specification of an output current of 120mA per channel. Is it possible to put ON all the channels together? Wich is the maximum current that all the pack can handle?

In the TLC59281 is the same?

With the TLC59xx parts, you can turn on all the channels at the same time. You are limited by the thermals of the IC and of each channel. The TLC5927 has a temp sensor for the IC and for each individual output. This is explained on page 18 of the datasheet.

The outputs can be connected together to achieve higher output currents. This app note explains how: http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/slva253/slva253.pdf
