BQ35100: BQ35100 Current sampling rate Query

Hi Team,

Hope you are doing well.

My customer is using BQ35100, and now we have a confusion about the internal ADC sampling rate.

I saw conversion time=1s in our datasheet, does it mean that the current sampling rate is 1Hz?

Because the load current in my customer's application is narrow pulse current under most condition, we do see some accumulated error.

We discharge battery for 63 hours, Multi-meter shows 235mAH discharge capacity, while 205mAH calculated by BQ35100.

May I have your suggestion? Thanks.

Hi Luke,
What mode are you running the device in? Accumulation mode?
What is the nature of your application load, Amplitude and frequency? The gauge uses a delta sigma integrating ADC for coulomb counting. The operating frequency of the low frequency oscillator is 32khz.
