Hello,

I'm at the beginning stages of a product, and I need a wireless charging solution, both Tx and Rx.

Tx: looking for <5W transmit

Rx: looking to charge a Li-Ion battery, 4.35V, 0.5A charge current.

On the transmitter, the BQ500212A is available, but NRND. There's also the BQ500511/BQ50002 combination, but that's NRND too. Is TI getting out of the wireless power business? If not, what parts should I use?

For the receiver, the BQ51051B looks appealing because it has integrated charging. Will this part be NRND soon? Is there a better solution?

The bq5105XB will be around for a while no plan to NRND.
The two TX you pointed out above are NRND but no plans to end of life. Both are good with no technical issues.
No new devices are coming out.

Thanks for the information. It will be a challenge to get the customer to allow a NRND part to be designed in.

The wireless power space is like the wild west - lots of parts coming out and then becoming NRND. It's hard to find who the dominant players are.
