TL2575HV-05: accuracy and absolute value of feedback resistor device inside

Part Number: TL2575HV-05

Dear specialists,

My customer is designing  TL2575HV-05.

He is thinking original circuit, I would be grateful if you could advise.

---

I'd like to know the accuracy and absolute value of the feedback resistor.

The background is described below.

The input voltage range of the load equipment is needed >4.75V, in this case, considering the voltage drop by wiring, there is a possibility that the required voltage can not be satisfied.

So I am thinking adding external resistor(68omhs) in order to rise up the output voltage to 5.127V.

The reason is my company has TL2575HV-05 in stock,
I would like to adjust the voltage by adding an external resistor if possible.

Is there a possibility for this circuit.

---

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Your idea will work in theory.  However, the absolute values of the internal resistors can be as bad as +/-25% and we do not garuantee

this parameter.  Also, the temperature coefficient of the internal resistors will not be the same as your external resistor.

If you are OK with this unpredictable variability then it should work.  The value of the bottom resistor is 1k, while the top resistor

is 3.1k for the 5V device.

  • Hi Frank,

Thank you for your quick relpy.

I found that the idea was not feasible when considering voltage accuracy.

I'll share your suggestion with the customer.

I appreciate your great help and cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Shinichi
