LP55231: Can C1+/-, C2+/- be left unconnected for CP_MODE BYPASS?

The datasheet for the 3-channel LP5521 section 8.2.2 'Application Without Charge Pump' shows the charge pump capacitor pins left unconnected if the charge pump is in bypass mode. Is the same true for the 9-channel LP55231?
