Hi all,

My clever customer started evaluate UCC25630-1EVM-291.

He is ACDC professional ,not a beginner

At first 90V AC in, and next DC350V in.

But do not work.

He opened the EVM for the first time, not used one.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi Hiroshi-san,

Thanks for your interest in UCC25630-1EVM-291. Could you ask your customer to check the voltage on the BLK pin of UCC256301? It should be above 3V. If BLK is above 3V, take a look at RVCC and make sure it is ~12V. I assume from your description no switching is occuring?

Ben-san,

My customer will back to his office next Tuesday.
He also read all documents of these products.
He locked the marking of the mold, it is "UCC25630 G4".
He said, is this really UCC256301 ?
You know if it is UCC256302 or 3, does not work.

Hi Hiroshi-san,

All UCC25630-1EVM-291's come with UCC256301 by default. Could you check the silkscreen marking again? If it's UCC25630-1EVM-291E4, it is a prototype version of the EVM.

Thank you for your support.

That was easy mistake.

The voltage display of his electronic load is broken,
The output voltage could not be read.

The EVM works fine.

I think he will take good data for this IC.
