Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD90160A,
What is the resolution or rounding factor of the scaling parameters, specifically the Iout Cal Gain and Iout Cal Offset in the UCD9090A and UCD90160A? In my configuration, all monitor rails are configured as current monitor inputs. In this example, I am working with Rail #2.
Using Fusion Digital Power GUI version 7.0.18 and the UCD9090A EVM, I set Iout cal gain to 556 and then use "Write to Hardware" and "Store RAM to Flash" buttons. I then exit the GUI, power cycle the EVM and restart the GUI. When I look at the configuration of Rail #2, the Iout Cal Gain is reading 571.
Setting 535, 539 or 540 results in reading back 541. Setting 525 results in reading back 526. Setting 555 results in reading back 556. Setting 572 results in reading back 588. I can't figure out the relationship between what is selected and what value is actually saved and used in the device.
What is the resolution, granularity or rounding of Iout Cal Gain and the other scaling parameters? How does the value entered related to what is stored and used in the device?
