BQ25570: Cold start not working properly

Part Number: BQ25570

Hi all,

I am using TEG to power up my BQ25570. Everything is working perfectly except cold start. For cold start it require around 480 mV  (open circuit TEG voltage) ( as per the data sheet it is 330mV  to 400 mV). Also during cold start TEG voltage is clamping to 10- 15 mV below open circuit TEG  voltage. But as per data sheet during cold start TEG voltage should clamp at 330 mV.

Details of important components are given below,

Vstor cap = 57uF + 0.1 uF ( less than 10 mm away from pin)

V bat Cap = 0.44 F , 5.5 V ( Super capacitor)

Rov2= 7.32 Mohm , Rov1= 5.6Mohm

Rok3 = 4.75Mohm, Rok2= 5.6 Mohm, Rok1 = 3.92Mohm

Rout2= 7.32 Mohm , Rout1 = 4.75 Mohm
