TPS3813: About tw of TPS3813

Part Number: TPS3813

Hi

I have a question about TPS3813.
I think that "tw Pulse width at VDD" in "7.6 Timing Requirements" is "twindow, min" in Figure7 .
Is this understanding correct?

Best regards,
Yokota
  • Yokota,

That is not correct. Pulse width at VDD refers to the minimum time required for VDD to be below the threshold before it is detected as a "low". This is also the same time VDD must be above the threshold to be "high". This is to prevent a bouncing VDD at the threshold from causing the RESET to continuously trigger.

The twindow, min refers to the minimum time required for a pulse to occur on WDI (watchdog input) pin to prevent a reset. This is not related to VDD minimum pulse spec.

    Does this answer your question?
