LMR14030-Q1: the difference between DDA PKG and DPR PKG

Hi,

We got a question from the customer about LMR14030-Q1.
Could you help us?

They are considering changing PKG from DDA to DPR. Is there any risk to change the PKG? Refer to datasheet, we assume the electrical characteristics is same and the chip is different because only DPR has PGOOD function. Is our understanding correct?

The big diffenencr brtween DDA and the DPR is the Thermal information in section 6.4 in DS. The DPR has a better thermal performance. The DPR has the PGOOD because it has more pin(10-pin for DPR, 8-pin for DDA)

Hi,

another key point is the soft start capacitor, DPR package require the Css to be less than 4.7nF.
