TLC59116F: What happen when a few data bits are input after the last acknowleage and before the stop condition?

I understand your confusion.
Just remember if the device send the ACK, the data will be effective.
If the auto increment active, after MCU finsh sending the data and the device send the ACK, the data will be effective in the recent adress registor. The other bit data will be sent next adress if there is no stop condition, but whether the next adress will refresh data successfully depending on the data format and the device send out ACK.

I'm sorry to ask you many times. I may be misunderstood. My first question was that what happen on TLC591116F when a few bits (less than 8 bit data) are input between the last acknowleage and the stop condition. Then I wanted to know whether the few bits are stored to any address register. According to your comment, the few bits don't affect the next address register data because the acknowledge for the data is not sent.
Is my understood correct?
