TPS65910: Connecting VRTC to BOOT1

Hi PMIC support Team,

I understand that VRTC of PMIC:TPS65910AA1 can't be connected to VDDS_RTC of AM335x.
Is it no problem to connect VRTC to BOOT1 of TPS65910AA1?

Hi Kanae,

You are correct, there is no problem connecting VRTC to BOOT1. BOOT1 pin with pulldown active (default) draws 10 uA max (Table 5-5 in the datasheet), while VRTC is capable of supplying 100 uA in low power mode (Table 5-13 in the datasheet), so this should be no issue and how the device is intended to function.

However I cannot find Table 5-13 in the datasheet as you said.
Is the datasheet of TPS65910 here?

If my understanding is wrong, please let me know
and could I have the correct information?

Hi Kanae,

I was referring to the electrical characteristics table in section 5-13 VRTC LDO.

I have just look for the table in the datasheet.
They are "Section 5.5" and "Section 5.13" that make sense.
