Dear sir,

I would like to use this device as both positive DCDC converter and negative DCDC converter (inverting DCDC converter)?

Is this part enable to use like this?

If not, please advice an another device? 1A Io is enough for me.

What's your Vin and Vout? The device can support the negative output. If your Iout is closed to 1A with negative output, I suggest you to use 2A device, such as TPS562201.

If you want to use inverting DCDC converter, you can refer to the attachemnt.

The following is the VinVout condition.

Vin : Both 8.4V to 6.0V for battery supply and 12V for Adaptor

Vout : +5.0V/0.15A, -5.0V/0.01A

In my opinion, there is no need to change the device to TPS562201.

One question,

To achieve less ripple voltage and light load, which converter is preferable TPS561201 or TPS561208?

Yes, no need to change for your application
TPS561208 is better for Vout ripple in light load
