Design calculations for boost converter

Hi,

I would like to know whether I can use to calculate boost converter efficiency?

I have the components datasheet and I would like to know will this buck converter calculation could be use for boost converter calculation? Or do I use

to work backwards on the efficiency?

I checked our TI website and unfortunately I did not find a similar document for boost efficiency calculation. However, there are a lot articles online, if you google it. If you are considering a particular boost controller, please let us know and we may be able to help.
