BQ28Z610: I2C broadcast.

Hi, 

I was trying to get the I2C broadcast working on the BQ28z610, after looking at it for a while I checked the forum and I found a post that said the broadcasting feature has been taken out in version 0.17. On my device I currently using - HW-version 06, FW-version 0017, FW build 0016.

Could you tell me if this is true or not or should I be able to get this to work.

I've probed the I2C bus, and changed the address settings and broadcast interval time and also BCAST bit is on as well as GAUGE_EN and nothing happens.

    Hi Reuben,

    You're absolutely correct - BCAST functionality has been removed from v 0.17 of the firmware. Please use the v0.20 of the firmware, which includes BCAST functionality.

    The v0.20 of the firmware is not yet on the website, but should be available soon.
