UCC29002: Equation different between DS of UCC29002 and app note

Part Number: UCC29002

Dear expert,

I find there are some different between UCC29002 datasheet and app note-SLUU137B.

Could you help me to figure out which one I should use in my current design?

  • update the "different part" picture

  • Hello Ben,

The datasheet recommends a particular method of calculating compensation component values that result in a crossover frequency of one tenth the individual module crossover and the application note uses a simpler method of calculating the compensation components that results in a crossover frequency of one hundredth the individual module crossover frequency.
The designer of the reference design in the application note chose this method based on their particular design requirements for a lower frequency system response.
If you wish to use a more generic optimized response then you should use the equations in the data sheet

    Regards
