LMR16030: What is the peak-to-peak inductor current ripple?

The rule-of-thumb is to select your inductor and switching frequency so that you get 30% of the max output current; in the case of the LMR16030 (3A) it'll be 900mA peak-to-peak. So use equations 9 & 10 of the datasheet to find out the proper inductor value that will give you the 30% peak-to-peak inductor current or you can use our WEBENCH design tools to come-up with the full design and simulation.
