Several "typical application" schematics for the TPS54360 show dual input and dual output capacitors, the engineering sample board is even made with dual input and output caps. Figure 34 in section 8.2 of the current datasheet shows an example. C1/C2 input capacitors of 2.2uF and C6/C7 output capacitors of 47uF. Other then easier availability of a certain values of capacitors.. is there another reason to use two capacitors on this particular TPS54360 DC-DC converter?
