TLV62095: Error Amplifier

Part Number: TLV62095

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask TLV62095?

Our customer has the question whether Error Amplifier oscillates or not because of FB resistance and CFF(or stray capacitance).
We could not judge correctly, however on the block diagram, it seems that Error Amplifier is used as comparator.
Is there negative-feedback amplifier?

If you have some advice, could you let us know?

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

  • Hello Hirotaka-san,

It's always nice to geta question from you. The error amplifier is an high DC gain stage with differential input, where one input is the Vref=0.8 and the other is the FB signal.

By the way, I am not fully sure to have understood your customer question and why it arose:
-does he see subharmonic oscillations on the output voltage?
-if so does he want to know if the Cff together with the FB resistors could cause, or give a solution, to this inconvenience?
  • Hi Emmanuel san

    Thank you for your reply!

-does he see subharmonic oscillations on the output voltage?
    ->No, they don't see it.

-if so does he want to know if the Cff together with the FB resistors could cause, or give a solution, to this inconvenience?
->No, they only use FB resistors, they just concerned about oscillation because of using error amplifier.

    Kind regards,

    Hirotaka Matsumoto
