LM2733: competing w/ PAM2841

hi all,

I need a boost led driver, 5V in, 29Vout @ 200mA.

something like the PAM2841.

I was looking w/ interest at LM2733, but didn't find any proofed design in LED driver config.

may you help me out?

    Hi Vincenzo
    You can use LM2733 for LED driver, the SCH is similar as PAM2841. but there is a problem.
    loss probelm:
    because LM2733 reference is 1.23V. so the R3 loss is 1.23*0.2=246mW
    PAM2841 reference is 0.2V. So the R3 loss is 0.2*0.2=40mW
    if customer can accept it, you can recommend LM2733.
