LMG1205: Question on the external connection of two VDD pins and two HS pins.

Hello, 

LMG1205 has two VDD pins (A3 and C4), and two HS pins (C1 and D4). The datasheet shows A3 and C4, C1 and D4 are internally connected. 

Do I have to connect A3 and C4 together externally? The same question for C1 and D4. 

If it is not necessary to connect C1 and D4 externally, can I connect C1 to switch node, but use D4 for boot cap connection?

    Hello Qian,

    Thanks for asking. For LMG1205, it is not necessary to tie the two HS and and two VDD pins together. For this package, the parasitics between the two pins are minimized already. External connections are plus, but not necesary. You can connect C1 to switch node, and use D4 for boot cap connection. There is a introduction of layout like what you said in page 17 of the datasheet.
