Could you please answer one of my customer solution?
I have a bq51050b as a receiver and I need the NTC function on the TS pin (page 25 to 26 in the datasheet). I try to follow the calculation 3 and 4 (under Figure 29). I am using the values on page 26 for R1, R3 and the RNTC. My goal is to get the %Vtsb similar to curve I see in Figure 30. But I don’t come near these value. My result for are all between 30% to 36%. My coworker than showed me, that you have a tool (BQ5105XB NTC Calculator Tool ) to calculate R1 and R3 so I tried using that. I entered the value given in the datasheet on page 26 and the results using TI’s tool are:
R1 = 200 Ohm
R3 = 9,767 MOhm
This is very different form the 29.402 kOhm (R1) and 14,302 kOhm (R3) in the datasheet.
