BQ35100: bq35100 / Chem ID for LS 33600 from saftbatteries

Part Number: BQ35100
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hi,

The customer consider to use bq35100 with LS 33600 battery but we can't find chem ID for this battery in bqStudio. Do you have already the Chem ID that has similar spec with LS 33600? Or do you need to characterize this battery?

  • Hi Satoshi,
The customer can use the default chem id for EOS mode because the algorithm is actually using the rate of change of resistance and not the actual resistance it self , so the default chem id can be used.

Characterization of Li-primary cells takes a really long time -about 2-3months so if your customer insists on having their cells characterized, you should set the expectations with them.

    thanks
