Do you know when the safety approval will be done for The TPS2595?

The timeframe should be ok then.
We were using TPS25200 for USB2.0 output port
For new design, the TPS259531 should also work the same and plus it has inrush control correct?

Hi,

Yes, TPS259531 can be used as replacement. TPS259531 has programmable dVdT feature to limit inrush current to desired values.
