Hi,

   In our prototype board to monitor 4 TMS320C6678 DSP's power supply(smart reflex) we are using UCD9244,2 UCD7242 devices.Since third DSP disconnecting randomly,UCD9244 replaced with UCD9244-EP. after replacing  EP device fourth DSP voltage is not coming up(remains at zero volt) .since DSPs are in daisy chain i am unable to use none of the devices.Please suggest a solution.

    UCD9244 and UCD9244-EP have the same behavior. If the configurations for UCD9244 works, it should also work for UCD9244-EP. You will need to download the configuration file (.xml) into UCD9244/-EP for it to work. 

    If the rail has fault shutdown, please connect the device to PC and run Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI. The GUI will show the fault status that caused the UCD9244 to shut down. Based on the fault status we can further investigate the problem.
