Hi Support team
My customer has a design with the TPS55330 on board and is having an issue due to the pulse skipping. It is an audio application and when the part goes into pulse skipping mode it creates a 30 Hz noise. The application is very non standard, input voltage is 3.2v~4.2v, I out is 2mA min to 30mA max. Vout can be adjusted between 10 and 16 volts.
I know this part is overkill for this application, however he is using it because it is sync to a 500KHz clock. Since he has multiple boards made is there a way we can adjust the L/C such that it moves the pulse skipping mode below the 2mA minimum current? The L is 4.7uH and the Cout is 10uf.
Another option would be to change the frequency, would that be something you would suggest to prevent his design from going into pulse skipping mode?
Thanks
