TPS7B63-Q1: TPS7B6350-Q1 related PG & PGADJ

Part Number: TPS7B63-Q1

Dear Linear team

1. Is that correct that PG pin is Reset for MCU?

2. If we use 5V Fix output. Can we use PGADJ pin connected  to GND?

Thanks

Best Regards

Gerald.

  • Hi Gerald,

PG can be used to drive a MCU RESET pin as shown in Figure 26; however, you can also use PG to drive other digital pins such as the EN pin of another power rail that you would like to come up after the TPS7B63-Q1.

If you tie PGADJ to GND you will set the PG threshold to 91.6% of Vout.  For the fixed 5 V output this would make the PG threshold 4.58 V.

    Very Respectfully,

    Ryan
