Hi, I'm in trouble because I want to make a custom procedure to write the .srec file or the other generated by bqstudio into my device memory. I have a procedure to write the .dfi file for another device, the bq27410, it's the same? Bacause I've found that important data to use in .srec generated from bqstudio are from 0x4000 to 0x43ff, so I think to use this data and program it on my bq27742. Is this correct? Because there is no documentation on how to write on memory. If you have any hidden documentation could you share with me?

I want to use the .srec file, how can I do ?? Which procedure I have to use to write the right areas? Is there a flow chart or other? Because I've found no one speaking about addressing it or programming data from .srec not using bqstudio.

Hi Enrico,

Sorry for your trouble. pLs use a .dffs or .bdfs file to program the gauge. These can be extracted using bqstudio. see apps note below for guidance on programming the device.
