My client wants to make 12V output with 48V input. We want 150W, 200W, 300W design.
The IC we found is TPS40170. We have confirmed that the output is designed up to 14A when designing the WEBENCH with the IC.
This corresponds to 168W. It is said that the fet capacity is exceeded at higher load.
If you connect the FETs in parallel, is it possible to design 200W, 300W with the IC?
If not, do you have an IC that you can recommend separately?
