Hi All 

I am using BQ25895M-IC for battery charging management system. Here my question is, I want to charge my attach device(mobile phone, ipad, iphone and other electronic device) first and then charge power bank battery when power source input available at the same time.

In-short it will charge the attached device first and then start the new charging cycle for main power bank battery to charge. Using this it will first discharge all the charge from battery and start battery charging  from zero.

So, is there any way to achieve this functionality.

    Sachin,

    The bq25895 can either charge the battery BAT when VBUS is plugged in or provide 5.xV power at PMID when VBUS is not available but not both at the same time.

    ok, I understood your given answer.

    But, what I need to know that when the power input is is present and the device is also connected to the power bank at the same time and power bank battery has the still 60% of power remaining(means not full discharge condition). So at this time power should have to charge the connected device first and then it start(from certain level discharge %) to charge the power bank.

    In this case battery has to discharge fully(or as per requirement up to some some predefined %) and then it start charging the power bank from discharge condition to full charge condition.

    So, In-short it has to charge the connected device first and then charge power bank when power input is connected at the same time.

    I am assuming that the device is connected at PMID and power bank battery is BAT.  If so, since there is only a FET between VBUS and PMID, when in charge mode, the device at PMID pulls unregulated current from VBUS. Any remaining current/power will go to the buck converter for charging the battery at BAT.  This is not a valid operating condition.
