UCC256301: Design Calculator spreadsheet is locked

Thanks for your interest in UCC256301. When first opening the design calculator, please make sure to click the "enable editing" popup that comes up. After clicking enable editing, you can enter your design parameters into the cells highlighted in yellow.

Thanks for the quick reply, Ben. The spreadsheet downloads to a .xlsx file. When I open it with Excel 2013, there is no popup window. Clicking the File tab shows that the spreadsheet is Protected, and there is an Unprotect operation for each sheet which requires a password.

Are you seeing something different?

Hmm, yes I can, despite the note from Excel "...sheets have been locked to prevent unwanted changes to the data". I can also save the worksheet to a new name with the changed data! So what's the use of password protecting the sheets, I wonder?

I originally went to the File tab to look for something about enabling editing, like the spreadsheet recommends. I don't see anything there about that, just the password protection (which doesn't seem to do anything!).
