LM25117: LM25117 CM Pin Connection

Hi team,

My customer has a question regarding the CM pin connection for LM25117. In the typical application circuit in the datasheet, the CM pin is connected to a SMA connector symbol. Does this has any particular purpose? 

 

Does LM25117 need to connected to a 50 ohms impedance-matched terminal for the CM pin?
