TPS61088: Operation when Vin is greater than Vout

If the input voltage (7V nominal) and the regulated output voltage (9V @ 2A load), does the sync rectifier turned ON (fully?) or is it passed through it's body diode should the input voltage go higher than the output voltage to 12V?

What is the high side FET's body diode's current rating?

The high side FET's current rating is higher than the pea k current limit value. When Vin>Vo+Vf, where Vf is the voltage drop of the high side FET, Vin will pass through. All the current all flow through the body diode of the high side FET.

Thank you. What is the maximum allowable current and corresponding Vf of the body diode?

Its current rating is the same as the FET, the current can as high as the Ilim value. Vf has some tolerance, around 0.5V.
