TINA/Spice/UCC28180: Simulate UCC28180 without BOOST_CCM_DCM using my own N-MOS FET and Boost Diode

Part Number: UCC28180
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Can the BOOST_CCM_DCM device that comes with the TINA Transient Reference Design be replaced with my own N-MOS FET and Boost Diode?  Or do the two devices work only as a pair?  If BOOST_CCM_DCM can be replaced, is there any special adaptation needed?  If BOOST_CCM_DCM can't be replaced, what are its parameter limits?  Current Voltage etc.

Tnaks in advance.
