BQ24617: modification in reference schematics

Hi, I want to use bq24617 in my project, my requiment is as follows

1. Vin (Adapter) 5 to 14 V and I need VSYS (System power) = 4.5V

2. battery: 1S cell li-ION battery charging.

3. battery charging current= 5A and adapter input current = 8A.

in reference schematics the system power is drived from input but i want the power after buck conversion so that my system power will be always near to 4.5V. is it possible to modify the circuit like this. do you have any reference circuit similar like my requirement if so please share with me.

If you are not using the direct power from the input to the system. you can use the similar structure below.

hi,

in above schematics

HIDRV and LODRV are inside the battery charging IC.

Once the battery is fully charged than battery charging current will be set to zero. at this moment shall I get System Power or it will be disconnected.
if adapter is present and battery is fully charged, what will happen in that case.

If the battery is fully charged, the converter will turn off. In this case system then the system is powered up by the battery.

If adapter is present and battery is fully charged, then system will be powered from the battery.
