Hello All,

Here I am working on a battery charging and battery management work, And I am using BQ25895 IC for battery charging.

I want to know that When a device get connected (say mobile) at the output port at that time it will automatically detects the device or not, is there any feature built in into it.

So, I just want to know that it will simply detect the device connected at the output USB port to charge the device.

bq25895 has D+ and D- pins for USB port type and non-standard adapter detection. Please go through the bq25895 datasheet (SLUSC88A) page 17-18 for details.

Hey Ezhao,
Ok, that was for the input detection wright at the input side.
But i want to detect the output port, like that when mobile phone(device or any gadget) is connected to the output USB-A type port to get charged. At that time it will detect the device or not.
This BQ25895 IC can automatically detect the output port if any mobile phone(device or any gadget) is get connected.

The bq25895 only does D+/D- input source type detection. Thanks!

Hi Ning T,
Is their any way to detect the the connected device to the output port.
Or we can use this D+/D- pin to detect the device at output port.
