Hello all,
We are changing our bq76940 15S4P monitoring design to a stackable version of 14 packs in serie (672V)
Therefore we intend changing to bq76pl455 once the bq76940 is not able to support such voltage.
Once the bq76pl455 support up to 16 cells, is it possible to disable in each pack just one cell and have several boards stacked with 15 cells each one? It would work properly?
If so, which cell should be disabled? The lower or the higher one of each pack?
I believe also there is no gauge IC that support such voltage. In our last design we use bq78350 for this purpose. If you could suggest one gauge for this stack, would be great.
