Dear TI,

I have TPS92515HVEVM-749 High Current buck LED Driver Evaluation Module. I see that ILED can be set with Jumper J1. For my purpose I need to replace Jumper with Switch/Analog MUX or Micro Solid State Relay with control signal. Can your recommend such ASIC?

and I also want to ask what happen if I force 5V on IADJ pin?

In my application I need for 1400 ms 36 mA ILED, then 90 ms break ( no ILED), then 190 ms 1000 mA ILED and again 90ms break. All this will be in loop.

Hello Marcin,

Connecting IADJ to VCC (or another 5V supply) will clamp the peak current sense to 240mV as described in the datasheet. The easiest way to switch between two current levels is to connect a resistor from IADJ to VCC for the high current (1000mA) operation. Then for the low current setting just use a small FET to switch in another resistor from IADJ to ground to form a resistor divider for a lower voltage at IADJ.

Hello Clint,
Yes it make sense but how I will get no current for some period? In total I need 1A for 90ms, 36mA for 1400ms and 0mA for 90ms.

Hello Marcin,

During the period of no current just pull the PWM pin low and the output current will be zero.
