by the way,

could you please help recommend a MOSFET or efuse to achieve the input Reverse Polarity Protection? thanks.

Hi Iven,

Please increase the value of the output capacitor to at least 47uF, this should help you with the transient response as well (2x 47uF) is preferred. Everything else looks okay. For your PCB layout please make sure you follow the recommended component placement and routing as outlined in our datasheet. For front-end reverse polarity protection please take a look at the following Application Note/ reference design:
