Hi
I'm a designer in oil industry. The criteria on my cards is small, vibration, and in this case it must survival in 150 degree C.
The power-supply in this case shall work with PWM(save power). The work is almost as a Z-diode. It shall follow input voltage up to a a certain level, and the the output shall then be steady. In this case the certain voltage is around 22Volt. When the input voltage are almost the same, then the power don't work steady at all. It produce ripple on several voltage. I belive that the problem is related to a mode in the IC(24V and 21.5V on the BOOT load).
Input is up to 60V,Current 10mA to 5A, heat is up to 150 degC, and the space is very little.
How can I go around this (Maybe feed 'BOOT'), or is there another IC who do the work ?
If I get documentation about the input on 'BOOT', then maybe I can create something.
Hope for fast feedback and help.
Best regard Arild H. Saether.
