BQ2000: BQ2000 have no Vout.

Hi Sir

My customer design as attached.(we charger is 4 series NiMH battery(4.8V))

we measure Vcc = 5.5V, Vts = 1.8V(parallel 10K with R8), i think it should be meet charger condition. but we can't measure Vout. is something we need to notice?

Can you keep VCC around 5V and increase the input voltage to 9V? I want to give more input voltage margin.

I saw the MOD pin and gate drive circuit is different than the DV2000 (www.ti.com/.../sluu006a.pdf) and DV2004 gate drive circuit (www.ti.com/.../sluu016a.pdf) . Where do you get that MOD pin gate drive circuit? What is the Q3 gate voltage looks like?

we can't find the data when we click link.
We have new question that how we can check the battery already inseretion?
For DS, it seems say it is use PVD. but i am not clear how BQ2000 active.
Because form the flow chart, just BQ2000 meet V lbat< V bat< Vmcv and Vhtf<Vts<Vltf, then BQ2000 will going to fast charger.

Search DV2000 or DV2004 from TI.com can find the demo board schematic and MOD pin gate drive circuit.

I want to check the switching FET Q3's gate drive circuit and waveform. If the gate drive circuit or waveform has any issue, we may not get output voltage.

PVD is a termination method. Yes. Please check Vbat; Vts or any possible reason to hold charger off.
