WEBENCH® Tools/TPS62821: Issue when creating a WEBENCH design - possible bug

Part Number: TPS62821

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello,

There appears to be an issue with WEBENCH when creating a design using the TPS62821 for the following parameters:

Vin = 3.3V +/- 10%

Vout = 0.7V

Iout = 200mA

When I hit "show why parts were not found", it does not show anything.  Can you please comment on this?  Thank you!

Also, side question - are you working on a feature in WEBENCH to let you configure a buck converter in an inverting buck-boost configuration to get a negative output voltage?

Best Regards,
Brian

  • Hi Brian,

    The issue has been resolved now. You will be able to create the design on ti.com in our next production release.
    We will let you know once it is done.
    This part is configured to work as buck converter only. Currently for this device, we do not have support for inverting buck-boost configuration.

    Thanks,
    Kiran Kumar
