TPS92518EVM-878: how to Power on without MCU board

Hi Engineer,

If we would like to demo the TPS92518 EVM without the MCU board and GUI.

Do you know if the SPI pin could be floating or not?

If not, what's the right signal I should give to the SPI pin to power on?

 

Because now we give the Vin=12 V, En=7V and PWM=5V, and the board gate pin do not have any output.

    Hi Pearl,

    As far as we approved the order, we approved both TPS92518EVM and the LEDSPIMCUEVM together.

    They might be on different shipments, but, it’s needed to have LEDSPIMCUEVM to work with TPS92518EVM together.
    Please wait for the LEDSPIMCUEVM to arrive.

    Thank you for the quick reply.
    We have received the LEDSPIMCUEVM.
    But customer would like to use their own MCU which is assigned by end customer.
    that's the reason they are asking how to power on with out the LEDSPIMCUEVM .
