BQ27510-G3: How to flash the golden image

Hi,

If we use ev2300 or ev2400 to calibrate the battery (bq27510 g3) and get the golden image. Can we flash the golden image without using the EV ?

Hi Sharmila,
Using the Golden Image plugin in bqStudio you can export a .df.fs file. This is an I2C script that you can use to program the golden image into your ICs in production using a microcontroller in your system. The app note SLUA541 has more details about the Flashstream script format.

Hi dMax,
Thank you for your valuable response. Since our custom board doesn't support Micro controller can you suggest me some other way or application to flash the golden image .

You can use bqstudio and your computer or you develop your own test set up to program the gauge.
