TPS24710: Using Soft Start with TPS2471x and TPS24720

There is a 1A pull downon the gate. When the TPS247xx goes into a hot short condition, the gate cap will not discharge enough due to voltage across this resistor. Fast pull down during hot short recovers into a normal restart into Power Limit if the short is still present, which is most likely. But the SS cap would still be charged so the FET will be fully turned on instead of regulated as it should be during Plimt. So you will likely fail the FET and have very odd fault behavior. Also keep Css as small as necessary as the timer is active during power up with dv_dt so you will have to use a longer Ct, which can stress the FET in power limit fault.
