BQ40Z50: The next step after GPC - Rbtweak

Part Number: BQ40Z50
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: GPCCHEM, GPCRB

Hi Team,

Just would like to confirm the correct procedure after Rbtweak.

After Rbtweak process, the result could be a golden image or I need to do a learning cycle to create new gold image?

Or more comments for this?

  • The full process using an Impedance Track gauge is:
    1) GPCCHEM to find the chemID (battery profile) to use
    2) run a learning cycle at room temp or use GPCRA to find the golden Qmax and Ra values
    3) use GPCRB (Rb tweak) to optimize for low temperature performance if necessary and/or if low temp testing after step 2 isn't ideal
After that point you could generate a golden file, but we recommend testing to confirm all the other configuration settings meet your needs and if not you can modify them and retest before creating your final production image.
