Hello,

OWD cannot occur during balancing? As this IC has external MOS to balance, all the cells will be balanced at a time ,then why the squeeze function occur only on alternate resistors ?

There is internal 5K ohm for OWD. We don't use external Fets.

Hello sir,

My question is will squeeze function will be applied on alternate switches ?, If so why? I have mentioned in the reffered scrrenshot of the Data sheet in my previous thread.

goto section 7.2 "functional block diagram". Pay attention to the Squeeze resistor.
if all squeezes are ON then you have one big voltage divider. you can not detect open wire.
